FDC 109
Date: 30-06-2008

This first day cover for the Air Display stamp on 17th July is very special. It was flown in Vulcan XH 558 on 23rd June. The world's only flying Vulcan was preparing for its return to display flying. The cover also celebrates the 90th anniversary of the RAF so a lot of history in one small package.

View it and those featuring BBMF aircraft in the Historic Aircraft gallery.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang error
Date: 30-06-2008

Having delayed production of the custom sheet Royal Mail compounded the problem by sending the wrong Smiler.

The Smiler was an emergency measure so we would have stamps for the 1st June event. Still in dispute with them over this one.

Just a few custom sheets left now so order now before the price starts to rise as it is certain to do.
